Installing

  1. 01

    Download and unzip

You get a folder named "Chordical Synthesizer.vst3". It is a folder, not a file — that is normal for VST3.

  2. 02

    Put it where VST3s live

Copy the whole folder into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\.

  3. 03

    Rescan in your DAW

Restart the host and let it rescan VST3 plugins. Chordical appears as an instrument.

  4. 04

    Load it on a track

Drop it on an instrument track and play. Nothing to register, no licence to enter.

What it needs

OSWindows 10 or 11, 64-bit
HostAny VST3 DAW — Ableton, Reaper, Bitwig, FL Studio, Cubase
CPUAVX2-capable x86-64
RAM4 GB minimum, 8 GB recommended

Using it as a MIDI source

Chordical outputs real MIDI, so it can drive any other instrument in the project instead of making the sound itself. In Ableton the routing is:

  • Put Chordical on one track and set its monitor to In.
  • On a second track, set MIDI From to the Chordical track, Post FX.
  • Set that track's monitor to In as well.
  • Chords and arpeggios now play whatever instrument is on the second track.
